What began as a worn-out, underutilized backyard evolved into an intentional, multi-tiered retreat—designed for entertaining, relaxing, and living artfully outdoors.

THE CHALLENGE: A Beautiful Estate with Nowhere to Unwind

This home had the bones of a luxury outdoor experience but none of the flow. The existing pool and patios were disjointed and dated, upper tiers were unusable, and the front entry lacked warmth and functionality. Step transitions were awkward. The pergola was failing. And the front landscaping? Mature, but restrictive.

We weren’t just solving for space—we were creating destinations, purpose, and narrative across every step of the landscape.

THE VISION

The goal was clear: reimagine the backyard as a destination with tiered zones for conversation, play, hosting, and solitude. We tied every detail back to the home’s bold estate aesthetic, layering warmth through texture and elevation.

From a sunken pool bar to cascading waterfalls, this landscape invites exploration—and rewards it with experiences.

THE TRANSFORMATION

CURB APPEAL

We created a tranquil morning coffee retreat, framed by revitalized masonry and lush, yet sculpted, landscaping. With upgraded lighting along the walkways and a color palette to complement the home, the front side of the estate now sets a warm and inviting scene for guests and passersby.

TERRACED WITH INTENTION

Old steps and hangout spots were reimagined, inlaid lighting was enhanced, and the flow was made intentional, evolving the space from an awkward eyesore to a backyard escape.
